Something not working, or not sure how a feature is meant to work? Email [email protected] and a person will read it. Telling us the device you are using and what you expected to happen usually gets you an answer in one reply instead of three.
Getting started
- Create a parent account in the app or at kidboard.app. The account belongs to the parent — children never sign up themselves.
- Add a child, and give them a username and password. That is what they use for Kid Mode, where they see only their own board.
- Add the duties you want done, and the rewards their points can be spent on. Everything a child submits waits for a parent to approve it.
There are answers to the questions we are asked most on the home page, and a fuller help centre inside the app under Settings, and in the web portal under Help.
Subscriptions and billing
KidBoard is free to use for one child. Premium and Family lift that limit. Where you manage a subscription depends on where you bought it:
- Bought in the iPhone or iPad app: Apple handles the billing. Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, or go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Bought on our website: sign in at kidboard.app/portal and open Billing.
If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel there beforedeleting your KidBoard account — deleting the account cannot stop Apple's billing.
Your account and your family's data
- Deleting your account — how to do it, what is removed, and what has to be kept.
- Privacy Policy — what we collect and who we share it with. Questions about your data go to [email protected].
- Terms of Service.
Trouble signing in
- Parent: use forgot password to get a reset link by email.
- Child: a parent can change their password at any time — open Kids, choose the child, and edit their profile. Children sign in with a username, not an email address.
